Meet Cindy

I’m a complex person. Light and dark and all the in-betweens. I use photography to bring out those complexities in all of us.

Most of my favorite movies and bands are dramatic, obscure, raw. And I realize that’s how my best work is. I get the shots that you need, and I get the shots that you’ll remember.

I love weddings because you observe a whole range of human emotion all in one day.

I love families because I have a family too. I know the strength of that bond and I love the energy it puts out.

I love seeing people love each other, how they do it, and why.

I want you to look at my work and think, yeah that’s real life. That’s love.

And while this all sounds pretty dramatic, I’m also a very lighthearted person. I laugh a lot and I tend to think I’m funnier than I actually probably am. I’ll let you decide. I live in Wildwood, Missouri with my husband Mike, my boys Jack and Nico, my dog Buddha and cat Demi, our hamster, and 2 toads. Yep, it’s a pretty crazy house and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What Inspires Me: My boys, water, the golden hour, tall grass, flower crowns, anything from Free People or BHLDN, forests, movies, tattoos, high school sweethearts, indie rock, weird people, mountains, animals, intimate outdoor weddings, California

In addition to what is below, I have also been featured on Let the Kids Dress Themselves, TheKnot.com, and various issues of St. Louis Bride Magazine.
