Caitlin and Ted | St. Louis Wedding Photography

Caitlin’s and Ted’s wedding day was beyond beautiful and had such a nostalgic, timeless feel. She is very close to her grandfather and he has the most gorgeous property in St. Louis. So of course we opted to do the wedding party pictures there. I love when photos are taken somewhere personal to the couple and it was an added plus that this spot happened to look like somewhere in Ireland. Florals by Flowers and Weeds. Invitation by Wedding Paper Divas. Cake by Harter Bakery. Hair andView full post »

Andy and Liz | Stylish Wedding at Barnett on Washington in St. Louis

I’d been looking forward to this wedding forever. Liz and Andy are incredibly sweet people, and Liz’s style is A+. I couldn’t wait to see what she came up with for her wedding day. Her dress was to die for.. so were her shoes.. her headpiece.. just everything. Andy’s awesome tie/pocket square set tied all the colors together. Liz had the most refreshing location ideas and I was so excited to shoot mostly indoors for this wedding. They had their very first date at theView full post »

Adam and Erin | Romantic Silver Oaks Chateau Wedding in Missouri

I’m so glad that my first experience at the beautiful Silver Oaks Chateau was with Adam and Erin. I can’t say enough how perfect this place was for them. They have quite a love story – having spent the majority of their relationship long distance. I can’t imagine what a challenge that must have been, but they stood by each other and got through it. As Erin put it, “It was a fierce and instant “knowing” that this was really something to explore and holdView full post »

Genevieve and Lewis | a spring wedding at missouri botanical garden

The moment that I read Genevieve’s email I knew she would end up being one of my favorite brides. Her and Lewis live in New York City. She is a culinary genius (check out her amazingness on instagram @gykopman). And he is ridiculously smart and has a master’s in the history and philosophy of science. They blended their Scottish and Chinese heritages to create a beautiful spring wedding in Lewis’s hometown of St. Louis. They chose Missouri Botanical Garden for their ceremonyView full post »

Marc and Bridget | A Hip Wedding at the Boo Cat Club in St. Louis

The day started out at the lovely Cheshire Inn and then headed to Forest Park for some portraits. The ceremony and reception took place at one of St. Louis’s newest wedding venues Boo Cat Club. Such a hip, unique spot with so much personality! The events took place in 3 separate rooms – the ballroom, the catacombs, and the theatre. It was an awesome day. Katie and Kevin | Colorful Spring Wedding at Noboleis Vineyards in Missouri

When you meet someone and it feels like you’ve known them forever.. that’s how it felt with Katie. She’s one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met which explains why she had so many bridesmaids – who wouldn’t love her? Kevin is equally adorable and together they are magic. Their wedding was a memorable one. Not just because of the cute ring bearers and flower girls, or their pup who was included in the ceremony and wore a doggie tux, or the insanely awesomeView full post »

Ghayas and Megan | Beautiful Wedding at Sheldon Concert Hall

Reasons why I love this wedding: Just look at these two. They are adorable. And they are best friends. When Megan was walking down the steps toward Gus for the first look he said, “Is that her? Yeah that’s her. I can hear her laughing.” Ahh so sweet. Megan wore her mother’s wedding dress – and it was absolutely perfect! The church they chose – St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church – was jaw dropping gorgeous. It was a traditional Greek Orthodox weddingView full post »

Justin and Kate | Surprise Wedding at Family Farm

What could possibly be more awesome than surprising your guests at your own wedding?! Justin and Kate let everything think they were just coming for an engagement party at Kate’s parents’ elderberry farm in Missouri. But they were actually coming to watch them get married! I loved the looks on some people’s faces as they walked up and saw the sign! Kate greeted everyone in an adorable Modcloth dress and then once all the guests arrived, she changed into her gorgeous gown andView full post »

Jeff and Anna | Dreamy Summer Wedding at the Weingarten

Jeff and Anna.. your wedding was so beautiful. Some of my favorite things: Anna’s halter gown.. probably my most favorite wedding dress I’ve seen yet. The look on Jeff’s face when he saw Anna walking down the aisle toward him. And the way Anna looked at Jeff the whole day. The gorgeous sunset.. stay tuned to the end of the post for that. Jeff’s brother’s speech which basically put all other best man speeches to shame. Their adorable grandparents who lit up theView full post »

Alex and Sarah | Hip Urban Soulard Station Wedding

When they met at the altar, they giggled and smiled and it was easy to see how crazy in love they were. Sarah and Alex treasure each other, and respect one another, and compliment each other so well. They met at Borders and had an immediate emotional connection. She loved his green eyes. They both love adventure. And so they became a couple. And now years later, while planning their wedding, they had one goal – that every detail in their wedding have value and meaning. And they achievedView full post »
